I have a passion for literature too and my first full-length literary translation from German, Marzahn, Mon Amour by Katja Oskamp, published by Peirene Press in 2022, was shortlisted for the Warwick Prize for Women in Translation, as well as the Dublin Literary Award, and was runner-up for the Society of Authors Translators' Association First Translation Prize. I was bowled over by judge Ka Bradley's words: 'The translation had a superb creative feel for voice and a sparkling sense of showmanship. A characterful, colourful and kaleidoscopic achievement.'
